Halloween

If you meet an event planner who says they don't like Halloween, drop your things and run as far away from them as possible- because you've just encountered your first Halloween DEMON!

Halloween is the BEST! And here's why:

Seasonal past times like pumpkin and apple picking make my heart melt from nostalgia.

Seasonal past times like pumpkin and apple picking make my heart melt from nostalgia.

  • The weather! Seasons are changing and the leaves are giving their one last hurrah to the season with bright and vibrant foliage. Hot drinks like tea and hot toddies are back on the menu, and delicious scents of nutmeg, bay leaves, and crisp autumn air become our greatest scent-ual companions. Like the leaves, Halloween seems to be our last hurrah before we bunker down for the cool weather- and nothing makes welcoming in the colder holiday season more jovial than with an out of this world costume party.
  • I love seeing everyone's unique style and personality come alive on Halloween. A regular night out on the town garners fall booties, denim, leather jackets, and amazing fall accessories. But on Halloween night- you see personalities spanning eras, genres, cultures, and and social references. You can't take yourself too seriously wearing tool on your rear, or blood on your face. Halloween is the perfect opportunity to showcase things you love that are a little less socially acceptable on any other day. I live for it!
  • The creativity! Halloween parties, themes, foods, decor. There are so many ways to incorporate the spooky and humorous holiday into event design. Dark intrigue, ghoulish greens, gold and copper candlesticks, grey and white ghostly skin,  gory details, or whimsical faerie lights. All's fair in Leviathans and Warlocks
  • Masquerades! These costume clad parties showcasing regal wardrobes and ornate decorations deserve a section on its own. But Masquerades parties are basically allow us Halloween-queens the excuse to celebrate all year long and give event planners the opportunity to elevate the Halloween theme. Creating an experience for guests where opulence, style, and etiquette were the key ingredients for fortune and success requires an eye for sophisticated detail, glamour, and over the top touches. Any event planner's dream challenge!
